Meet Dr. Owsley

Dr.  Todd  G.  OwsleyDr. Owsley is a unique, highly trained Oral, Maxillofacial and Cosmetic surgeon practicing in Greensboro since 1995.  Originally from Kansas City, Missouri he graduated with Distinction from the University of Missouri School of Dentistry and then with Honors from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.  He completed a General Surgery Internship and an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.  He served as Chief Resident during his final year at UNC. 

Following completion of his residency in Chapel Hill, he went on to complete a one year fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery at The Institute of Facial Surgery, accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Owsley is board certified in both Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Facial Cosmetic Surgery. He served as Chairman of the Clinical Interest Group for Facial Cosmetic Surgery for the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.  He has participated as a board examiner and was selected to the Board of Trustees for the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery.  He remains involved in teaching the surgical residents as an Adjunct Clinical Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

He has had numerous articles and book chapters published and has lectured and taught extensively, both nationally and internationally, over a wide range of subjects both in Maxillofacial and Cosmetic Surgery.

Dr. Owsley maintains full hospital privileges at the Cone Health System in Greensboro, NC.
