Often times a Neck Lift and facelift are performed together to provide the best outcome, however this is not always required. In general, a Neck Lift requires approximately 7-10 days of downtime. However, if combined with other procedures such as skin resurfacing, facelift, blepharoplasty or others, the time can vary. It is recommended to avoid exercising for 2-3 weeks after surgery to prevent avoidable complications such as bleeding, bruising, pain and problems healing. Some patients may require a compressive dressing and drain temporarily, but most are removed within a few days of surgery.
